The Connecticut Conference - United Church of Christ - Also known as Missionary Society of Connecticut. United Church of Christ—National Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM) - name used to describe the work done by the United Church of Christ beyond the local church–through our Conferences, national ministries, and UCC-related institutions. Back Bay Mission, Biloxi, MS - Back Bay Mission, a United Church of Christ community ministry, was founded in 1922 to respond to spiritual and physical needs of the seafood processing families in Mississippi. We have had a close relationship with the mission for over 20 years. Casa Guatemala - Casa Guatemala is an orphanage that cares for the nurturing, health and education of over 250 children in Guatemala. Our continuing support is in memory of Melody Kee Smith, former Director of Parish Care at our church, who had a special feeling for Casa Guatemala’s ministry. Church World Service - relief, development, and refugee assistance ministry of 36 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations in the United States. Crop Walk - Sponsors community-based fund raising events that raise money for local hunger-fighting agencies as well as the international relief and development efforts of Church World Service.
